Harrison found the Jeopardy! round Daily Double in “World History” under the $1,000 clue on the 8th pick of the round. He was in the lead with $2,400, $2,000 more than David in second place. Harrison bet $2,200 and he was RIGHT in the nick of time.

ALL of the contestants got Final Jeopardy! right.

WHO IS GEORGE CUSTER?

The Battle of Trevilian Station was fought on June 11-12, 1864, when Grant ordered Phil Sheridan to destroy stretches of the Virginia Central Railroad. Then Brigadier General George Custer was leading the Michigan Cavalry Brigade (Custer’s Wolverines). Custer came upon a Confederate wagon train and ordered his troops to attack it. If Union cavalry had not shown up to save the day, it would have meant annihilation for Custer’s brigade.

After Custer and his men were massacred at the June 1876 Battle of Little Bighorn, the Trevilian charge came to be known as Custer’s First Last Stand.

David bet $5.00 and finished with $1,405.

Sheila bet $3,500 and finished with $10,100.

Harrison bet $1,400 and won the game with $32,000. His 3-day total is $91,801.

I’ve seen many other youngstas who have an incredible breadth of knowledge, and Harrison is as strong as any of them. I did get (only) the middle DD, the one he missed. Sheila did the best she could against a force. David went south early when he said Hinduism instead of Buddhism and at least made it to Final. I knew FJ immediately, if only because I knew what year Little Big Horn battle occurred. Thought I’d known one of the stumpers, but I don’t see any listed here that I got.

If Harrison wins tomorrow, then Aaron Levine will be in the 2026 Tournament of Champions.

You mean WHEN Harrison wins tomorrow 🤣🤣🤣

Harrison is the latest steamroller making their mark. I hope that one interview makes the connection between Terre Haute IN and his accent.

I was 0/3 on DD but got FJ. Comparatively, this final was easier, because, name anything else military in 1876.
