WHAT IS CANADA?
As usual, different figures than the ones in the clue can be found online, which is why the clue uses approximations. I’m linking to Countries by Area on statisticstimes.com today because I like the sortable table on there. It shows that the top 5 countries by area are Russia, Canada, the USA, China and Brazil. When you sort the table by Water Area, the top 5 are Canada, Russia, the USA, India and China.
Canadian poet Bliss Carman managed to fit the names of over 20 rivers into his 1925 poem “The Rivers of Canada”
Kate thought it was the Philippines. She bet nothing so her score remained $3,600.
Dan got it right. He added $2,600 and finished with $13,000.
Cris also got it right. He bet $221 (his girlfriend’s birthday) and won the game with $25,621. After winning every game this week and one last week, Chris Pannullo’s 6-day total is $162,080.
A triple stumper from each round:

I said the United States, while my wife said Canada. Oh well! I definitely did not think Russia was in there.
I thought the first round was lights out grand, but, the DJ round slowed a bit (although all clues were shown).
As for FJ, my pick was Russia, but my mother got it right by selecting Canada. Regarding Canada, the country may have the most water area per se, but with the caveat that just about all of the lakes in Canada are very shallow indeed.
Russia wasn’t a bad guess, Rick. Kudos to your mom on getting it.
She’s an avid Jeopardy fan, and quite amazing.
Happy to see Cris win 6 games today. Cris cleaned up this week.
