Sadie is not going to win. Her very conservative wager on her relatively meager total (vs Rowan’s total) shows either very poor betting strategy, or, just an innate nature that she is risk-averse. And, if there was EVER a time to NOT be risk averse, this is it! And I want her to win!
Wow, Rowan sure is a force to be reckoned with. Could give the superstars a tussle in the ToC.
Joplin was the only black composer I could think of from the stated era.
I think someone should have known the lake at Banff.
Surely one of the other 2 would have known LeBron’s city if given the chance. Rowan usually gives complete responses, so I was surprised they didn’t in this case. Unlike Matt Amodio, who cuts corners and gives the shortest possible response beginning with “What’s.”
Hi VJ! “The Entertainer” is MUCH easier to deal with than “Green Acres”. I loved it as the theme for the movie The Sting. Ahh – oldies but goodies….
“The Sting” won a slew of Oscars, including Best Picture, but not one for that song. The awards were handed out in 1974, the year that the streaker ran across the stage. I’ve got a collection of J! clues on that film and others from 1973 over here
Now I’ve got that tune “The Entertainer” stuck in my head. I suppose that’s better than the Green Acres theme song. lol. I had that stuck in my head the past two days because I wanted to know if Eddie Albert was singing the male parts on that. “Farm livin’ is the life for me”.
