Ariel couldn’t get any rhythm going after not getting that daily double on the Kurt Vonnegut novel. I feel that brian could possibly sweep up the week if he keeps playing like this. I really wonder if the code of Hammurabi can apply to Greek gods like Zeus, Poseidon, hera or so, VJ?

    • VJ says:

Think about it, Lou. How is a king going to make laws that apply to the gods? Hammurabi wasn’t Greek anyway. The Babylonians had their own gods and Hammurabi mentions them in his Code.

    • William Weyser says:

Plus, Brian & Jonathan had too many wrong responses in the Double Jeopardy! Round. When it comes to “Aileron”, I’m not gonna risk saying what I’ve said so many times about things that I either don’t come across every day or have never came across before. So, we’ll see what Brian does in his 3rd game tomorrow.

      • VJ says:

Ah, well, William, I didn’t know that one and I’ve known how to say wings in French since I was a little girl. It’s in the Alouette song — je te plumerai les ailes.

Must have been frustrating for Brian – he knew what it was but was mixing up the syllables. Also frustrating when he couldn’t pull up the answer to one of the Composer clues — he ruefully said “I’m a music teacher!”
