ALL of the contestants got Final Jeopardy! right. Hip hip hooray! (Last time was on 12/20/2019)
It appears that this tradition began on Election Day in 2016 (November 8th). According to PBS: “Visitors flocked to Anthony’s grave in Mount Hope Cemetery in Rochester, New York, on Tuesday, leaving hundreds of “I Voted” stickers behind in a tribute to the women’s suffrage leader…. Some visitors waited for 90 minutes to see the grave of Anthony, who illegally cast a ballot in the 1872 presidential election in Rochester and who faced a subsequent criminal trial.”
Deborah L. Hughes, House President of the National Susan B. Anthony Museum, is not particularly thrilled with the tradition.
Justin bet it all and finished with $2,400.
Christine didn’t bet anything. She knew she was good for second place with that $5,800.
John bet $710 and won the game with $23,510. His 2-day total is $52,511.
Round 1 Reversal: THE REST OF THE MOVIE’S TITLE ($1000) This noble name: “The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes” — Alex accepted “Lord Greystoke” from Christine when it is just “Greystoke”. The judges decided the clue was misleading and took away $1000 from Christine, but did not dock her for a wrong response.
Round 2 Reversal: PROVERBIALLY YOURS ($800) Things are always going wrong with the proverb “Bread always falls” this way — Justin said “butter side up.” Alex said “No.” Justin said “butter side down” and that was okay with Alex because Justin still had time. But it was not okay with the judges because Alex said no. Justin had to surrender $1600.
A triple stumper from each round:
NEW ON THE BOOKSHELF ($1600) A history of this 2-letter Sumerian city is subtitled “The City of the Moon God”
PLACE-NAME NAMES ($2000) Just go with it–Andy Roddick is married to this model

Christine should not have been docked. The clue specifically said noble title, and “Greystoke” is not a noble title.
@Howard, the clue said “noble name.” I guess that shows how easy it is to translate that to “title” in one’s mind
Congrats to John on his second win. That was a great game for him!
I loved how Justin stuck out his lower lip when he got the reversal and then gave a big cheery 2 thumbs up when he doubled his FJ score.
Maybe Christine will bake Alex a German chocolate cake and bring it to the studio. Maybe a whole lot of German chocolate cakes will start showing up there anyhow. True story: Back in the 1960s, singer Lloyd Price (Mr. Personality) told a disc jockey on the air that he wanted Santa to bring him a chocolate cake for Christmas. At his next performance at the Apollo, something like 30 women showed up with chocolate cakes. 🎂 🤣
Man john ran away with the game despite that one daily double eluding him. Overall I think he has a good chance to build a streak due to his strong knowledge. It’s good that all the players got the triple solve. Still though Justin had a bit of trouble building rhythm. I hope to see another triple solve tomorrow also do you think the judges should have let christine keep that 1000 VJ?
Man! This game had its ups and downs. Justin corrected himself so quickly on that last response, they can’t take away $1,600 just because he didn’t get it right the first time or not in time before time ran out.
