Now that’s how you start the new year off on the right foot. Congrats to Karen on her fifth win and our fifth streaker to break the string of leader curses.

Honestly though, cher? Really Shane? And also everybody should know Bridget Jones diary and the chardonnay wine. That should have given Val the hint she needed to get a lock on the game, VJ. And as we start the new year, Karen is now in the running for the tournament of champions.

idk if you saw the game yet, Lou, but Val said she and her hubby are classic film buffs. idk how someone is supposed to know what was in Bridget Jones diary if they never saw the film or read the book either. Other than that, we all have moments when even when we know something, we can’t recall it right away.

Happy New Year to everyone and my sincere thanks to all who stopped by and kept me company in 2019. It was quite a year for Jeopardy! fans.

I didn’t have a clue on the Bridget Jones’ Diary clue (by just reading the text of the clue). If the word ‘diary’ doesn’t jump out at you while reading the clue (or if Alex didn’t put some specific emphasis on the word while reading it), there’s very little to go on (if you haven’t seen the movie or read the book, like myself).
