Eric Gordon Leads Rockets to Win Over Warriors

Sixth man Eric Gordon scored 24 points to lead the Houston Rockets to a 98-94 win over the Golden State Warriors in a thriller in Houston on May 24th. The Rockets took a 3-2 lead in the NBA Western Conference Finals over the defending champs.

James Harden scored 19, but was off his game, shooting 5 for 21 from the field, and was 0-11 from three point range. Chris Paul scored 20, but reinjured his right hamstring. He has been ruled out as the Rockets hope the rest will enable him to play in a Game 7 if the Rockets don’t wrap it up in Game 6 in Oakland on May 26th. If there is a Game 7, it will be in Houston on May 28th. The Rockets won Game 4 in Oakland, ending Golden State’s 16 game home playoff winning streak.
