Celebrity Apprentice Final Two… Uh, Three

John Rich and Marlee Matlin met with each of the Top 4 Celebrity Apprentices and wow! John Rich really gave them the business. Rich won the last season of Celebrity Apprentice and he raised an incredible amount of money for his charity.

To me, it’s all about the money. ~ John Rich

Marlee and John met with Donald Trump and told him how much they appreciated their Celebrity Apprentice experience and the opportunity to raise all that money for charity.

It seemed like they pegged Arsenio Hall and Clay Aiken as the two weakest players.

Aubrey O’Day:

Marlee told Trump that Aubrey’s hand trembled when they shook hands. Aubrey told her that although she is only 27, she has a lot of energy and creativity and doesn’t like hearing no. Aubrey explained why she chose her anti-bullying charity.

Aubrey told John Rich right off the bat that she will be in the Final 2, yet she only raised $50,000. Aubrey claimed to have hundreds of thousands of dollars waiting to go to her charity. “Terrible answer,” John Rich replied. He told Donald Trump that Aubrey was a chess player and he felt like she was trying to play him.

Aubrey denied being nervous to Donald Trump.

Clay Aiken

Marlee could not get a bead on whether Clay was a leader or a follower. Clay told Marlee about the organization he started himself to help special ed kids. Marlee thought he played it safe and John Rich echoed that sentiment. Clay felt that he did what he needed to do to win without having to make enemies and that it speaks to his character. John didn’t like it when Clay said he hadn’t shown his best yet.

Clay told Donald Trump that he had to spar with John.

Arsenio Hall

John Rich was impressed with Arsenio’s charisma, but not with his money amount. Arsenio said he raised over $100,000. Well, we don’t need to tell you how that was like peanuts to John, do we? Arsenio discussed his charity and his Aubrey O’Day debacle with Marlee.

Arsenio told Donald Trump that he thought John was trying to make him lose his temper.

Lisa Lampanelli

Marlee Matlin said that even though she’s deaf, she can hear Lisa. John Rich thought she was a tough tough lady. Lisa told John that no one is left standing when “LL” comes after them. Lisa said she was definitely the toughest of the remaining contestants and would eat them all for breakfast. “I am the Meat Loaf of this year,” Lisa told Marlee Matlin. That’s really funny that she said that. Marlee thought Lisa didn’t have the grip she claimed to have on her emotions. John thought Lisa’s strength is making people have an opinion of you one way or another. You either love her or you hate her. We don’t see how that is a strength.

Lisa told Donald Trump that Marlee is tough and that she bonded with John Rich. Lisa said she deserved to win because her teammates said week after week that she was the star. She also claimed she never resorted to shifty tactics. (Teresa Giudice would definitely disagree). Her perceived inability to control her emotions wasn’t even true, according to Lisa. She knows when to reign them in or when to use them.

Donald Trump said he agrees with John Rich and Marlee Matlin and much to her shock and maybe everyone else’s, he fired Lisa!

And much to our shock, Donald Trump ended the show without revealing who the next person was that got fired! But if you saw the coming attractions, and everyone remained in their same position, he was looking in the direction Clay Aiken was sitting.

Now back to Lisa. It was funny that she said she was the Meat Loaf of this season because at this stage of the game last year, Meat Loaf was one of the two let go for the same reason given for Lisa — being unable to control them emotions.

We think Lisa’s so-called strength was a large part of her downfall, too, don’t you? It may be a strength in her ability to be a successful insult comic, but who wants a person a lot of people strongly hate representing their charity?

Keep that in mind when it comes to Aubrey O’Day, that Playboy cover has been brought up before.
