LeBron Scores 57 as Cavaliers End Four Game Losing Streak and Beat Washington

The Cleveland Cavaliers got off to a sluggish 2017-18 NBA season by going 3-5 in the first eight games, topped off by a four game losing streak. LeBron James took matters into his own hands in the Cavaliers game against the Washington Wizards on November 3rd, scoring 57 points, with 11 rebounds and seven assists, as Cleveland beat the Wizards in Washington 130-122.

The Cavaliers are probably still working out the kinks a little as they get used to not having Kyrie Irving in the backcourt. They’ll need to shore up the defense , too as they’ve allowed 113 points per game, second worst in the Eastern Conference, while scoring 107.8 points per game. But it’s still early and the Cavaliers will emerge as one of the elite teams in the East.

Speaking of Kyrie Irving, his new team, the Boston Celtics, lost to Cleveland in the season opener, and then lost to Milwaukee, but after that 0-2 start, the Celtics have won seven straight.
