One Million Beat Shazam Round – 6 songs
First 5: $25,000 each. They only get a shot at the million dollar song if they get the first 5 right. There are no multiple choice screens and they have to know the song’s exact title before Shazam to be right.

5. R&B: “Nobody Knows” (The Tony Rich Project) – Hallelujah! Aaron shouted out. They began this round with $64,000 and finished with $189,000.

Aaron & Martin have now beat Shazam at 5 songs and they can try to do it one more time for ONE MILLION DOLLARS! If they lose to Shazam, they will lose half of their $189,000 and be left with $94,500. They were shown the category to help make this decision that can cost them almost $100K or make them millionaires. It’s the ’90s. Martin worried that it might be his weak spot– ’90s R&B. Aaron encouraged him to go for it and made a little speech: “The lessons we teach our student are to never give up… but to never be afraid to take a leap of faith and there’s a lot in life that’s bigger than money.” That sounded almost like they were going to bow out but Aaron added: “I’m willing to go for it. I wanna beat Shazam.” Then he let Martin take on the song with “You got this, bro!” Martin did indeed have it, although he sweated a little over the possiblity that he left out “I” out of the title That was not the case. It’s in the lyrics, but not the title. Down came the confetti!

Well, wasn’t that something?! The first show of Season 3 and the BIG prize was won. Aaron & Martin got off to a rough start, but look at them now! The two brothers plan to use their winnings to make life better for their families.
