Angelina Just ‘Too White’

The complaint that the Queen of the Nile wasn’t white continues its rise as the number one reason not to cast Angelina Jolie in the role of Cleopatra in the upcoming flick on the life of the powerful Queen of Egypt.

Angelina is also “too beautiful” so that sort of knocks out our alternate candidates, Debora Nascimento and Bipasha Basu. But if you’re going to approach it from that angle — that Cleopatra was homely – you may end up with a lot of insulted actresses. Sounds like a real casting dilemma.

We suggest that people stop saying Cleopatra was homely if you want to get this movie cast, and say that she was known more for her charisma and powerful personality than her looks.

How about Whoopi Goldberg or Omarosa?

They are known more for their talents and power than just their looks.

We can call them Power Cleos.

And don’t forget about Luca Argentero for Marc Antony. That in it itself may solve the casting problems.
