All My Children Soprano-Like Ending
Well, the last episode of All My Children” ended with a black screen like the Sopranos, AND a gun shot, unlike the Sopranos. We also got a little “Gone with the Wind” in there from Jackson Montgomery (Walt Willey): “Frankly Erica, I don’t give a damn what you need.”
Here are some tweets from All My Children stars:
@Susan_Lucci Susan Lucci: Just finished watching last episode of AMC-very emotional time. Thank you for spending your days in PV & the sunshine it brought to my life.
@rickygoldin gratitude to ALL who tweeted me & my #AMC castbuddies w/such love today! Feeling ur emotions. thank u from the bottom of my heart!rpgxxx
@KellyRipa Omg! Hi. Sad day:( RT @LizVassey: Hey @KellyRipa!!! So sad that AMC is ending. It made me miss you a whole bunch. xoL
but it’s onward and upward for Walt Willey:
@wwilley Okay! See you all at McCurdy’s mccurdyscomedy.com in Sarasota tonight! And at Sidesplitters Saturday night at 6PM!
Maybe it’s Erica Kane who got shot because the latest rumors are that the Pine Valley Vixen will not be making the transition the online version of the show. And since we already know it was J.R. lurking with a gun at the party, there won’t be a “Who Shot’ whoever got shot build-up. But maybe it could be “Who Did J.R. Shoot?” build-up.
A nod to Gone with the Wind, Dallas and The Sopranos. Oh, the fun of it all.
