WHAT IS “GULLIVER’S TRAVELS”?

“Gulliver’s Travels”, by Jonathan Swift, was originally published as “Travels into several Remote Nations of the World”. They are: Lilliput, where he arrives because of the shipwreck. Compared to the natives, Gulliver is a giant. Due to a storm during his second voyage, he finds himself in Brobdingnag, land of the giants. After his encounter with pirates, Gulliver winds up in Laputa and various other locations. After the mutiny, it’s the land of intelligent horses, known as Houyhnhnms and savage humans called Yahoos.

Meggie got it right. She bet $8,200, bringing her up to $21,400. Yesterday’s $7,600 gave her $29,000 even.

Ben got it right, too. He bet $5,001 and won this game with $26,501. That plus his $7,500 from yesterday made his final 2-day score $34,001. Ben Henri is the 2020 Teachers Tournament champ.
