I’m rooting for James, but was stunned that he missed the DD on garnet. With the info in the clue about Florida State colors, and he being a sports gambler, I thought for sure it’d be easy for him.
Is it ok to say I feel sorry for Brad? He’s just a split-second too slow with the buzzer.

    • VJ says:

Sure, Dave, you can say that. idk, sometimes I’m not sure if it’s he can’t beat James and Ken on the buzzer or if it’s he’s not really trying.

  2. VJ says:

Three cheers to everyone who got this clue that stumped the GOATs

TV GREEN THUMB ($1600) Played by Carolyn Jones in the ’60s, she loved to cut the heads off her roses & rejoiced when her thorns came in sharp

I got it on Carolyn Jones!

    • Albert says:

I can’t believe that was a Triple Stumper. Maybe Ken’s parents didn’t allow Ken to watch The Addams Family. Ken knew some obscure showbiz in the past such as the silent film star in his prior tournament.

I’m glad Brad woke up some on Thursday’s game.

    • rhonda says:

Yes, yes, I got that one immediately! Uncle Fester was awesome and I loved Cousin It!

  3. Richard Corliss says:

The tournament will continue on January 14th.

    • VJ says:

You’re right, Richard. I’ll fix that and whatever else in a few minutes. I had a rough day and just wanted to get this up.

Just checked my TV schedule and they are showing 4 games scheduled for next week !!??!!

      • Jay says:

The slots are basically being reserved rather than filled with Jeopardy content to help maintain the suspense and mystery. The way James and especially Ken are playing, like you, I expect ABC will be back to its regularly scheduled reruns later in the week, perhaps as early as Weds. Monday night, Geaux Tigers..
