WHAT IS “TWENTY THOUSAND LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA”?
The Nautilus was the name of Captain Nemo’s vessel in the 1870 classic by French sci-fi master, Jules Vernes. The Etymology Dictionary says the word is literally Greek for “sailor.” For an amusing look at the captain’s name meaning from someone actually named Nemo, click here.
Morgan wrote down “Watership Down.” She bet and lost it all.
Charles wrote down “The Ballad of Cap’n Crunch.” That got him a round of applause from the audience and it only cost him $201. He had $5.599 left.
Anand got it right. He added $3,800 to win this one with $25,000. His 2-day total is $35,001.

This reminds me of Penn Jillette getting Ahab right on a daily double.
What’s ahabs revenge? That answer was nonsense for the daily double chosen by Morgan. He probably never read Moby Dick, right VJ? Any literature buffs will tell us that ahab was not out for blood, he needs his leg.
Well, Ahab did want revenge on the whale. How do you think he lost his leg? Morgan just forgot that the category had to do with loss of something for a second there. She had answered every clue in that category right up til then. It wasn’t even a “costly” second — she only lost $1,000.
