Ken found the Jeopardy! round Daily Double in “Stuff about States” under the $800 clue on the 9th pick of the round. He was in the lead with $3,000, $1,800 ahead of Julia in second place. He bet $1,500 and he was RIGHT.

Julia finished in the lead with $5,600. Meghan was second with $4,000 and Ken was last with $3,900.

WHO ARE JULIUS CAESAR & JULIET CAPULET?
There are many Shakespearean characters who died from being stabbed or by a self-inflicted stab. On ProgressiveGeographies.com, there is an infographic that we might call Shakespearean Deaths at a Glance. It uses rest room figures to depict the characters and shows some 30 characters who expired from a stab wound. (You gotta love the Polonius representation). Julius Caesar and Juliet Capulet are the only ones with the same initials.
Death from the plays are in the above video, but the creators found Portia’s hot coal exit in “Julius Caesar” more dramatic than the way Caesar went out. That is No. 3 and Juliet is No. 2 on their Top l0 list.
Meghan wrote down Romeo & Juliet. She bet and lost it all.
Ken could only come up with Lady Macbeth. He lost $7,701 and had $2,199 left.
Julia had Hamlet & Horatio. She lost $6,601, leaving her with $6,599 and that made her today’s winner. We’ll start off with this new Jeopardy! champ on Monday.

Well i dont really know how julia will fare next week before the teen tournament but i just hope for at least a 5 time champion hopefully. I wonder if this year we will have a teen to qualify for the toc since the champ will get 100k just like with the teachers tournament and the college champs
I hope so, Louis! Although, I highly doubt that the teen champion is gonna qualify automatically for the TOC, but you never know.

I disagree. I am sure that Meghan is a bright woman, but a strong contestant would exercise better Game Theory.

Ha! All our speculation over whether one name would be acceptable turned out to be moot. Another thought I had: wasn’t Juliet’s last name technically Montague when she died? Friar Laurence married them, right?
