C. S. Lewis “first read Apuleius’s story of Cupid and Psyche when he was a young man, and it cast a spell on him for more than 35 years. In the early 1920s, he tried to write his own version — as a ballad, a play, a narrative poem,, and even in poetic couplets — but it wasn’t until the 1950s that Lewis was able to turn his ideas into a novel.” C.S. Kate bet it all and finished with $14,000.

I am rooting for Sam!
I am rooting for Niki!!
I’m leaning towards Sarah over Niki. They are both fast but I think Niki is more easily rattled while Sarah has determination.
As we know, though, anything can happen. Should be an exciting match.
I am rooting for Sarah to win the whole thing!!!! I still don’t hope Niki wins.
Sarah Dubnik is going to the finals with Niki and Sam!
Not to take anything away from Sarah, I still gotta say that Ziad put in a darned good showing today. I said “oh, noooooooo” when he said Cyprus.
So we’ve got a sophomore, a junior and a senior in the final. I know Sarah and Nikki are quick on the buzzer. I really couldn’t get a bead on Sam’s buzzer speed in his semi-final.
Who do I want to win this 2-day final? It’s gotta be Sam Deutsch because he’s the last man standing in our 2-day total point finals, although I do have an alternate choice and that would be Niki because like Sam, she was an automatic semi-finalist. Sorry Sarah, but I don’t root for wild-cards, AND THAT MEANS YOU RACHEL ROTHENBERG!
Sam Deutsch is the last man standing.
I thought Ziad Al was going to the finals with Niki and Sam.
Sarah Dubnik’s going to win
I hope Sarah defeats Niki in the finals!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope you stop hoping Niki would lose!
I don’t want Niki Peters to win, Sarah Dubnik is going to win.
Take that back, Higbee!
