This was a decent week in the Final Jeopardy! department, leaning more to the plus side. We saw 3 games with 2 correct in FJ! Only one person got Wednesday’s clue, which was a bit weird when the category was really asking for a famous 19th Century French scientist. Whatever, that was balanced out the next day when everyone got the right Latin phrase. There were no triple stumpers and we always love that!

This week’s winners:
Mon 5/25/26 $30,000 Chris D’Angelo
Tue 5/26/26 $13,400 Chris D’Angelo
Wed 5/27/26 $27,201 Chris D’Angelo
Thu 5/28/26 $50,000 Chris D’Angelo
Fri 5/29/26 $20,000 Chris D’Angelo

Chris D’Angelo returned as a 3-day champ and won every game this week. He made a cool $100K from just 3 of those games. His $140,601 puts Chris in the middle for top week totals between 2 superchamps. Tristan Williams’ top full week was $97,302 and Jamie Ding’s top week was 3-30-26 for $170,581. Chris still has to win 2 more games to achieve superchamp status.

The $140,601 Chris D’Angelo made this week plus last week’s $53,600 brings him up to $194,201. The usual $25K in consolation prizes was also paid out this week: $3,000 for second place and 2,000 for third place each day.

Here is the NATIONAL SPELLING BEE WINNING WORDS category from Wednesday’s game.
