It was a much better week for Final Jeopardy! clues than last week, at least as far as the numbers went. There was one triple stumper, only because of a misspelling. Oddly enough, a misspelling was accepted on Friday. Whatever the reason, it couldn’t have been because it was a foreign name. The name of Monday’s college is also from a foreign language. Overlooking those 2 clues, we’ll say the U.S. History clue was the hardest. The British place with the “sacred spring” was the easiest clue. Everyone got it.
3x champ Adriana Harmeyer returned on Monday, having already won $71,600. She won every game this week and was an 8x champ after Friday’s game, with total winnings of $183,100.
So Adriana picked up $111,500 this week and the usual $25,000 went to the runners-up.
Here is the Animal Planet category from Thursday’s game.
