We had a 1-2-1-2-1 pattern this week with the FJ! responses. The easiest, in my humble estimation, was Monday’s clue. The hardest was Wednesday’s about billiards.
The quarterfinal matches in the first Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament resumed, adding 5 more semifinalists to the list.
Sam Buttrey won Monday’s last quarterfinal, joining the semifinals. The three finalists to emerge from the semis were Amy Schneider, Andrew He and Victoria Groce.
Jennifer Quail, David Madden, Larissa Kelly, Sam Kavanaugh, Matt Jackson and Sam Buttrey were all $10,000 winners.
The finals began on Friday with a win for Amy Schneider. The first player to win 2 games will win the Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament. Then we will finally get to see regular games for the rest of Season 40. However, we’re not quite out of the Tournament woods yet. We will be seeing the winner of this tournament in the Jeopardy! Masters tournament that will air during primetime in May.
Here is the CHARACTERS IN MUSICIALS category from Wednesday’s game.
