We were treated to a great week with competitive games and far more Final Jeopardy! solves than we have seen for a while. Wednesday’s clue was the easiest and everyone got it. Even so, three days only produced one correct FJ! response. I don’t know what the hardest clue was for you. It was Monday’s clue for me!
Eleanor Dixon played her second game on Monday, the 4th of July, but was defeated by Yungsheng Wang. By Wednesday, Yungsheng racked up $84,202, but he lost to Brian Ahern on Thursday. Robert Won defeated Brian in the last game of the week. Yungsheng had the top payday of the week. Robert’s $32,001 was also impressive, especially when math professor Robert confessed in this Overheard video that he almost made a math mistake.
Who dat? Why it’s Yungsheng Wang on the “Puppy Love” episode of the Best Ever Trivia Show back in July of 2019. Yungsheng also was on the “Trivia, Smarts and Redemption” episode of Master Minds in January 2021.
Here is the “From the Speedway” category from Thursday’s game, presented by Jimmy McGuire in his last video as a member of the Clue Crew.
