Another week without a 3/3 in Final Jeopardy. That Friday clue threw all the players for a loop, but it was a great clue, even more challenging than Thursday’s. Tuesday’s clue was probably the easiest.
Lani Gonzalez was Monday’s returning champ with $16,800 already under her belt. She ran away with the games on Monday and Tuesday, but it was sayonara to Lani on Wednesday and hello to George Stuart. Ken Hirsh took over on Thursday and he was defeated by Julia Lee on Friday. George had the highest one day total. Lani took home the most money. $16,800 of her 3-day total came from the previous Friday.
Alex Trebek reading the “Jumpman” clue on Wednesday was the Twitter and media highlight of the week. George got that one and it brought his pre-FJ total up to $14,200.
