William Wilson Supporting Cast: Boardwalk Empire

Here are some of the actors who appeared in Episode 7 (William Wilson) of Boardwalk Empire, Season 4

Glenn Fleshler reprised his role as George Remus, now a Federal prisoner turned informant. J. Edgar Hoover (Eric Ladin) is disgusted that every time they have to talk to Remus, he gets a cushy hotel stay and good food, and Remus’ habit of referring to himself in the third person drives Hoover so nuts, he threatens to have him transferred to Leavenworth, where it’s presumably not so cushy. James Cromwell also showed up again as Treasury Secretary, Andrew Mellon, to speak at the dinner in honor of Hoover being appointed chief of the Bureau of Investigation. At the dinner, Hoover took credit for the investigative work of Agent Tolliver (Brian Geraghty), who goes by Agent Warren Knox when he’s undercover. That led us to find out that Gaston Means (Stephen Root) is also in Tolliver’s pocket.

Joseph Riccobene returned as Frankie Yale for a meeting with Joe “the Boss” Masseria (Ivo Nandi). Tonino Sandrelli (Chris Caldovino) was at the meeting.

My, how cheeky Tonino has become! Teasing Lucky Luciano (Vincent Piazza) about his Florida tan, and questioning him about “forgiving” Nucky Thompson (Steve Buscemi). Speaking of Nucky, this little meeting is going cause him some future headaches for sure.

Poor Deacon Cuffy came to grief in this episode when he found out that Dunn Purnsley was the one responsible for the recent influx of heroin into the community. Dunn, as we know, is only partially responsible. Dr. Valentin Narcisse (Jeffrey Wright) gave him the job. Deacon was on his way to tell Chalky White what Dunn was up to, but Dunn stopped him — with his knife. Deacon Cuffy was with us in a couple of episodes in both Season 1 and 2. He was there when Nelson Van Alden did Agent Sebso in via baptism.
