The Swizz Triangle: Beatz, Mashonda and Keys

… and all their children.

Alicia Keys confirmed to US Weekly that she and her music-producer boyfriend Swiss Beatz (Kasseem Dean) are expecting a baby and plan on tying the knot later this year.

Over the last two years, there was quite a bit of drama over how this union came about when Swizz Beatz was married to R&B singer Mashonda. Even now people keep saying that Beatz and Alicia Keys were “allegedly” having an affair while still married to Mashonda. But Beatz’ now ex-wife has pulled no punches about it how it all went down. She found out about it, she tried to save her marriage, she reached out to Alicia Keys, but she has moved on.

 
A nice sentiment, but as most divorced folks will attest, it’s never really over till the kids are grown. Swiss Beatz and Mashonda have a son, Kasseem Dean Jr., born in 2007. Alicia Keys is not only having his third child, she will be stepmother to his two children, at least as long as she and Swiss Beatz are married. He also has a son, Prince Nasir, from a relationship before his marriage to Mashonda.

The most important thing for all of them to remember is that their children will be siblings.
