The Family: Bridey Snags a Q-Tip

In “Feathers or Steel”, Episode 4 of “The Family,” most of the main characters had a bad moment. Some had more than one.

Don’t worry, she’s not a hooker

Willa must have choked on her waffle when Bridey joined the Warren Family for breakfast after spending the night with Danny. It is later revealed that Willa and Bridey were teenage lovers.

You shouldn’t be here

Someone spray painted the word MONSTER on Hank’s garage and Adam saw him trying to scrub it away. Adam felt guilty about it and started to help Hank scrub, when his parents saw this going on. The result was a restraining order being slapped on Hank.

Is it him?

In the wake of what seemed like a “replacement” abduction, Adam was shown a picture of a man that Detective Nina Meyers thought was the kidnapper of both boys. He just about passed out.

I’m your worst nightmare, Charlie

The current governor thinks Claire is a one-trick pony so he invited her out to lunch at the Governor’s Mansion to demonstrate what a newbie she is. Claire shut him down like an evil jack-in-the-box.

Obviously, this isn’t going to end in sex

Danny wanted Bridey to call off her report after seeing Adam’s reaction to the photo and return whatever she took from Adam’s room after he found out about that. That was a nasty confrontation, wasn’t it? He called her a lying bitch and she called him a stupid drunk! But no way is Bridey calling off anything after she snatched a used Q-tip. (Nice job, Willa).

Nina Meyers– more guilty than John Warren now.

Nina Meyers found the little boy who was abducted and then promptly killed the unarmed man who took him. Only it wasn’t Doug, the pock-marked man. It turned out to be a revenge kidnapping. (The kid was handcuffed to the bed!). FBI agent, Gabe Clements helped cover Nina’s butt with a story that the guy was armed and later gave her a jar of honey. In the meantime, she was warned by Claire to stay away from John and then she had to attend a press conference where Claire congratulated her and Gabe on their stellar police work!

John Warren isn’t that stupid, is he?

At the end of the episode we were brought back to the same disheveled scene we saw at the beginning of the episode. A home in complete disarray, only the second time, Hank was lying on the floor of the kitchen bleeding after being beaten with a baseball bat that belongs to the Warrens.

We have been promised that Adam’s true identity will be revealed next Sunday.
