We saw Chance Kelly in the last episode at the very tail end but we didn’t know his name then. It’s kind of a pet peeve of ours when they introduce a new character and don’t tell you his name. Once in a while they do, when they show who is speaking in the closed captions, but we had to wait till this episode to find out his name is Vinnie. He is Sam Winslow’s new fixer after she fired Ray and, in this episode, he was tasked with giving Ray the bad news that he was fired, dispatching Justine and counting the ransom money that Ray relieved Bunchy of.

I’m going to have to give you some medication, Mr. Donovan.

Jimmy Gary Jr. played Andrew, the orderly at the hospital who sedated Ray against his wishes. Ray didn’t even know where he was or what had happened when he came to strapped to the bed in Grandview Hospital. We can’t wait to see how he gets out of there because he does. The preview showed Lena and Bridget in the waiting room. He can sign himself out after so many hours, we suppose, but how about the cop he tried to strangle?

Mike Keller played that officer but we couldn’t really see his face. When he asked Ray if he wanted some water, Ray was hallucinating and saw himself in the policeman’s uniform asking him that. So from Ray’s point of view, he was trying to strangle himself — or an imposter?? Whatever, are the cops going to just let an assault on an officer charge slide?

Boston Bulldog? More like Boston Terry-er

We don’t know who played the boxer who was putting the big beat down on Terry. His lower tattoo said “Keep on hammerin'” and he was hammering away on Terry for sure. It looked like Terry will make a miraculous comeback but doesn’t he have to fight someone else after that? Terry and Ray have had so many concussions, their brains must be like oatmeal. No wonder Terry thought Lauren was Abby!
