Supporting Cast of Snowflake: Ray Donovan

Here are some of the actors who appeared in Snowflake, the ninth episode of Season 2 of Ray Donovan.

Colby French was one new face in “Snowflake”, playing Detective Todd Anderson, who questions Bridget Donovan about her whereabouts when Marvin Gaye Washington and Re-Kon were murdered.

After picking up some skin mags much to the amusement of the 7/11 clerk, Kate bribes a guard at Walpole to get them in to an inmate named Mike Renzetti who enlightens her on why her article sucks. The only reason Sully would go out to L.A. would have been to kill Mickey. He says the FBI and Mickey played her but doesn’t know why.

Mickey and Shorty case the all cash weed joint to plan out a robbery. The weed shop has tight security in the form of security guard, Boris, who was played by Nick Gracer. Boris is packing and sleeps on the premises but that doesn’t present an insurmountable problem since they have a secret weapon. They will distract him with the talents of Cherry, the hooker with a soft spot for Shorty. (Jeryl Prescott Sales in a now recurring role)

Mickey is incapable of appreciating that he has crossed the line with Claudette by hurting Daryll. She rejects his gifts of Indica weed and the knock-off purse he put it in (she has the real thing at home). His revelation of her husband’s infidelity isn’t as mind-boggling as Mickey thought it would be. Claudette says they have their ups and downs but have a good life. Mickey is upset that she couldn’t wait 20 years for him but says all he ever wanted was for her to be happy. Claudette lets him have it: “That’s bullshit,” she says, harshly adding that all he has ever cared about was himself. Mickey is stunned. He truly believed his one saving grace was his love for Claudette. If it’s not over yet, Mickey will bury this relationship permanently if he doesn’t treat Daryll better.

It does look like the budding relationship between Patty (Heather McComb) and Bunch Donovan (Dash Mihok) is over, too. Patty tries to make love to Bunchy, but he can’t get it up. He says he hasn’t been with a girl in a long time. She thinks oral sex will solve that problem, but it’s the worst thing she can do. She thinks he’s adorable when he asks if they can just go slow. After a burger dinner where he further charms her by his easy way with her young boy, Clifford, they do the dishes, Clifford takes a bath and calls out when he’s done. He wants “Uncle Bunchy” to take him out of the tub. Bunchy is so afraid he may be a pedophile because of his own molestation, he can’t even look at Clifford and when the boy tells him to pick him up, and wraps himself around Bunchy in the towel, he freaks out, dropping the child on the floor.

Patty tries to smooth over the incident, saying the boy is fine but Bunchy tries to explain what went wrong. He asks if she was ever afraid she was going to do something but knew in her heart she didn’t really want to do it. Well, that’s it. Now Patty is the one who is freaked out and she asks him to leave.
