The semifinal lineup for Jeopardy’s 2025 Tournament of Champions have been announced:

These are the winning scores from the quarterfinals:

Adriana Harmeyer, Isaac Hirsch and Drew Basile skipped the quarterfinals and went straight into the semis by virtue of being the Top 3 players on the Jeopardy! ToC Tracker.

Adriana Harmeyer won 15 games and $349,600 so she is the only one we have a statistics post on. (They have to win 10 games for me to make such a post.) Defeating Adriana would be quite a feather in anyone’s cap. Isaac Hirsch won 9 games and $215,390. Other players in the 9-game league include Ben Chan and Buzzy Cohen. Drew Basile won 7 games and $129,601.

So you can see that the 3 top winners got to play in the same order as who won the most. Why did they match Drew Basile up with the 2 top scorers in the quarterfinals? That’s anyone’s guess but I thought for sure they would put the 2 Drews in different games and was surprised as hell to see that.

Right now, I’m thinking Adriana and Isaac will win the first 2 semifinals. Thursday’s game looks like it will be a battle of the buzzer and woe unto him who buzzes in with wild guesses!
