Michael Vick, Tiger Woods Top Most Disliked Athletes List

It seems that when an athlete gets on the public’s sh*t list, it takes a long time to get off it.  Case in point is Forbes’ list of Most Disliked Athletes. Sixty percent of those polled disliked Michael Vick and Tiger Woods, putting them at the top of the list.

Vick served time in prison for his role in a dog fighting ring, but has been out a few years and has cleaned up his act.

Woods’ philandering was highly publicized, but for the last couple of years, his story is more about whether his golf game will ever return to its previous level.

And then there’s No. 3 — Plaxico Burress.  Plax served time for an illegal gun possession charge, but returned to the NFL and played adequately and stayed out of trouble, but people remember the jail term.

Detroit Lions defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh comes in at No. 4 after having been penalized numerous times for unnecessary roughness and roughing the passer.  He also was suspended for two games this season.  Another season like this one and he could be No. 1 in the poll next time.

In the fifth slot is New Jersey Nets basketball player Kris Humphries.  Humphries is a decent enough player but no one except NBA fans knew who he was until he got married to, and 72 days later divorced from, Kim Kardashian.  Humphries was disliked by 50 percent of those polled.  It would be interesting to see how many people dislike Kim Kardashian and compare results.
