The show’s format pits 3 contestants against each other and 3 Master Minds against each other. There are 3 rounds and the contestant with the highest score wins $1,000 and faces off in the Ultimate Trivia Challenge against the winning Master Mind. If the contestant beats the Master Mind, the prize money goes up to $10,000.

Muffy set a new record with 8700. Beastie had 2500 so Muffy will join Amanda in the Ultimate Trivia Challenge. If Amanda beats Muffy, she will win $10,000 and return on the next show. Any player who makes it through 2 shows and wins $20,000, gets to join the Master Minds expert team.

Muffy and Amanda tied with 3 right responses so Amanda gets to play the Ultimate Trivia Question. She does not have to beat Muffy on this one. She just has to get it right.

That was a fierce challenger yesterday! And we rarely ever see women win this show. She definitely deserved the $10,000. She was fast on Ramadan on the ultimate trivia question. And getting 8300 in round 3 is very hard to do. I hope she becomes a master mind just like Kelly and Lauren did last season
Wow – Amanda was the real deal! After the 3rd round, the combined points were 11,100. The Beast thought that her total points 8000+, was the highest he’d ever seen from a challenger, and Muffy agreed. But, Muffy and the Beast combined for 11,200!
I got #1,3, and 4 correct, along with the Ultimate Trivia Question (which wasn’t that ultimately difficult). I said the Trivial Pursuit token color was sports!
I think Amanda might have what it takes to become the next MasterMind!
And Brooke was back today.
Yeah, that third round was something else. I got the last two in the final round right for a perfect score (pats self on the head– right arm hurts too much to pat self on the back 😲)
