LSU Wins Men’s College World Series

Nine Tigers drove in runs, including three who drove in three each as LSU easily beat Florida 18-4 in the decisive Game 3 of the best of three men’s College World Series on June 26th. This came just one day after the Gators blew out the Tigers 24-4 in Game 2. LSU beat Florida in Game 1 on June 24th 4-3 in 11 innings.

After spotting Florida a 2-0 lead in the first inning, the Tigers roared back with a six run second and four run fourth inning. They closed it out with a three run eighth and four run ninth. LSU ends the season with a record of 54-17 and their seventh NCAA baseball title, second only to USC (12).
