Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune landing on Pluto in August
Sony Pictures Entertainment and Pluto TV have entered into a agreement whereby Pluto will launch two separate channels for old Jeopardy! and old Wheel of Fortune episodes. Vulture reported earlier today that the two channels will be launched on the first of August, 2022.
8/1/2022: LIVE AND ON DEMAND ON PLUTO TV:
Jeopardy! Channel 1005 and Wheel of Fortune Channel 1010
In advance of that, Pluto has adding a new Game Show category, with channels devoted to Deal or No Deal, The Price is Right and Let’s Make a Deal, as well as Pluto Game Shows, Buzzr and Game Show Central channels, which air various games shows.
Pluto is ad-supported and therefore free to the viewer. Personally, I watch a few channels on Pluto and I find the commercials to be shorter and less annoying than the ones on local TV stations. You can add the Pluto app to your Smart TV, as well as most major streaming devices and web browsers. If you’re not already familiar with the app, watch this video for a more complete explanation.
Season 38 will be ending in July and we don’t yet know what will be shown in Jeopardy!’s time slot over the hiatus. However, Jeopardy! fans have apparently just been given the option to binge watch old games that they may have never seen before.
