Hanging Out At Diddy’s

Regular people apparently aren’t the only ones who leave doors unlocked when they go away, and 30-year-old Quamine Taylor of Jamaica, Queens, took full advantage of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ oversight, letting himself into the rap mogul’s East Hampton’s mansion through an unlocked basement door, and making himself at home for practically a day.

Taylor said that he planned on hanging out there for a couple of weeks but his “vacation” was cut short when a caretaker discovered him and called the police.

Police said it’s not the first time Taylor has paid a visit to Diddy’s digs, uninvited, if you will. He apparently has been there before in 2001. According to Quamine’s comment to the NY Post, it’s been more times than that: “I’ve actually been going to the house from time to time since 2001,” he said, claiming that “Sean gets funny sometimes about me staying there.”

After taking a train to from the Jamaica LIRR station, Quamine got himself a ticket to the East Hampton station, cops said, and he then took a taxi to Diddy’s. LOL! He helped himself to food and liquor and even tried on some of Diddy’s duds (which didn’t quite fit because Quamine is 6′ 5″ while Diddy is only 5′ 9″.

About 1 a.m., Quamine accidentally set off an alarm but was able to persuade the security detail that he was a Combs relative.

The unemployed squatter was arrested and booked on charges of trespassing and petty larceny with bail set at $2,000. Probably as much as the liquor he drank while he was hanging out.
