If I ever appeared on this show I would dread going up against Ryan Chaffee. His brain and memory are off the charts. He can retain information ad infinitum. Wow!!!!

    • VJ says:

@Jacob, I find Ryan to be the most entertaining on this show but Raj is the one I would dread going up against.

@Rhonda, either too young or just misremembered the commercials. Ryan said he sang the song to himself and still came up with “everyone loves.” Actually, they had different commercials for Slinky and they generally ended with “everyone wants a Slinky. You want a Slinky.” But that wasn’t a choice and the part that counted for this was the line in response to questions like “What walks downstairs alone and in pairs”

      • JJ says:

@VJ – Raj IS very strong! As you know, I was (and still am) a big fan of “The Chase” and Raj was able to beat Mark “The Beast” Labbett in the final showdown all by himself!
But I do agree that Ryan Chaffee is BOTH brilliant and a hoot!

  2. VJ says:

It’s so funny that they had a clue on Slinky today. When I saw the Toys & Games category for Jeopardy! this morning, the Slinky song started playing in my head and wouldn’t go away all morning. Unlike everybody on the show, I got that one!

    • rhonda says:

I knew that one, too, VJ! It’s Slinky, it’s Slinky, everyone knows …… lol. Guess they were all too young to know that one!

      • Jacob ska says:

@Rhonda, I agree with you about the age aspect. Commercials and slogans change over time to appeal to different generations. How do the lyrics go “everything must change?” So true.
