Here’s a recap of the clues on The Best Ever Trivia Show for Wednesday, July 3, 2019 with host Sherri Shepherd. This episode’s title is “All Tricks, No Treats.”

The format of this show pits 3 contestants against 3 trivia experts. There are 3 rounds and the player with the highest score wins $1,000 and moves on to the Ultimate Trivia Challenge for a chance to win $10,000. They give one player a choice of categories and a choice of experts to play against. It’s a multiple choice format.

Miguel is a returning champ. He won $10,000 in yesterday’s game.

In Round 1, Miguel chose FIRST LADIES instead of Halloween and he chose expert Arianna. 4 questions, 50 points for each correct answer and double if Arianna gets it wrong.

In Round 3, Miguel chose SOLID GOLD and not Biology. The twist in this 3-question round is the expert reveals how confident s/he is about the answer and the players have a chance to go with that for 200 points or to pick their own answer for 400 points, if right. Jonathan is this round’s expert.

Miguel wins again. That’s another $1,000 and another chance to win $10,000 by taking on a set of 5 more questions and getting more of them right than Ken. He would also return on the next show. Any player who makes it through 3 shows and wins $30,000, gets to join the Best Ever Trivia Show’s expert team.

    @VJ, under Ultimate Trivia Challenge #3 there’s a typo in the hidden correct answer. It changes the meaning for those who have no idea of the correct answer. When you reread it you’ll see what I mean. Thought you might want to know.
