If you missed any of the games, click on the date for the recap with the Daily Doubles and a triple stumper or two. There are more clues on Fikkle Fame’s archive, too.
This week there was one triple solve and one triple stumper. Two players got FJ on two of the other days and on Friday, there was only one “get.”
On Monday, Ellen Corrigan was the returning champ. After racking up $23,200 the week before, she won again on Monday. On Tuesday, Pranjal Vachaspati showed up. He won every match for the remainder of the week with back-to-back runaways starting on Wednesday. Since I was not home on Tuesday, I don’t have all of the daily images, so here are the 2 Champs of the Week.
Jeopardy! accidentally (we presume) put this category up on their youtube channel on Tuesday, July 18th. It’s “On Broadway,” a category from Wednesday’s game.
If you start the video and click on “youtube” (lower right side), you’ll see some comments that indicate it made some folks think Pranjal was going to lose. That didn’t happen so, technically, it wasn’t a spoiler. Wonder if Alex Trebek would say “no harm, no foul” on that.
