There sure were some tricky FJ!s this past week but, despite that, there was only one triple stumper. So that made Thursday’s clue the week’s toughest. The easiest was on Wednesday, as evidenced by the only triple solve of the week. The mixed results in the other 3 days speak to the need for a bit more than cursory knowledge of the topic, or the bright lights and pressure of being onstage after plowing through 60 clues.
Returning champ Scott Shewfelt didn’t make it to 3 wins when Brandon Deutsch took him out. Brandon did manage to beat the 3-game curse but lost on Thursday when Pasquale Palumbo won the day. Dennis Chase took over on Friday and he also had the week’s top daily payout. He will be the returning champ on Monday.
