@Cece, glad you had a wonderful holiday break. Welcome back.

  2. Cece says:

I’ve been overseas and just came back this week but have been doing outreach in the evenings, so last night was the 1st J! game I saw in a while.

By the looks of this recap, Steve seemed like a good candidate to start the TOC list but it was not to be. Oh, well. I must say though, that I was surprised he missed that DD yesterday with the word “Dewey” in the clue. Hmmm.

I would like to thank you, VJ, for a great 2015 at FF and wish you a prosperous 2016 filled with joy (go twins!).

My wishes also extend to all Fikklefamers. Here’s to a great 2016!

Thank you, Cece. I hope your holidays were great and wish you the same for the New Year. Yes, it is going to be an exciting year with the twins. They are starting to walk and just learning something new every day, like saying my name. LOL! Right now, that’s Nanna..

    • VJ says:

PS – on Steve, from the look of it, he was getting tired on Thursday. He lucked into winning that game when the other players couldn’t figure out Newfoundland. Still smh over that one — you didn’t need to know French. How about terra firma or terra nova? It blew my mind that the one player connected Neuve with Nova but somehow arrived at Scotia for Terre .

      • Cece says:

“Nana”, that’s so cute! :):) One of my friends’ 11-month old boy—for whom I babysit sometimes—is making no efforts to walk so far, and up to a few months ago, still rolled around the room instead of crawling. Lazy, lol!

Yeah, too bad for Steve; a very likable guy with a killer smile who could have been around a while if he took a little time to think over his DD’s.

I was also shocked at that Newfoundland FJ when I read the recap. It’s amazing what J! contestants’ brains do at the podium sometimes. 🙂

We’re in serious need of a 5-time winner. As I’ll continue to be busy in the evenings for a while, I hope I don’t miss the chance to watch J! when one comes along.

  3. Dalton Higbee says:

I hope Claudia Corriere returns next week.

    • VJ says:

Could be, Dalton. I thought Trebek said she would be back in early January and the end of next week will be the halfway point of the month. Time’s flying by like it always does!
