There were two days this week that only 2 players made it to Final Jeopardy! Monday was one of them and that was the easiest clue of the week. Did you know that, since 2011, there have been multiple clues every year on this man or on the movie about him? I thought that Friday’s Abbott and Costello clue was the week’s hardest even before it proved to be a triple stumper, although I did think that Matt would get it.
Matt Amodio returned for his 4th game on Monday. He started out with $101,400 in winnings and by Friday, that number had ballooned to $291,200. It was quite exciting. Matt set a new top score for the season on Wednesday when he finished with $47,000. The next day, he blew that away with an astounding $74,000.
Reading is Fundamental, Levar Burton’s charity, benefited by Matt’s run to the tune of $204,800.
From Jeopardy!’s YouTube channel: Here is Thursday’s Final Jeopardy! round when Matt cleaned up big time. Just think, he could top that next week!
