Most of the FJ’s this week went 2 out of 3. A triple stumper came along on Thursday. That was one of those “either you know it or you don’t type of clues”. If you did not know what a spinneret is, you were sunk. Moreover, the category was no help in narrowing down the literary genre. On Friday, only one person came up with the solution. For me, Monday and Wednesday were the easiest of the bunch and Friday was a bust.

Jeopardy! champs, week of July 12, 2021

2x champ Jen Jazwinski returned on Monday but lost her 3rd game to Tim Moon. Tim won another game on Tuesday, then lost to Tyler Vandenberg on Wednesday. Tyler won again on Thursday but Josh Saak sent him home on Friday. Tim had the highest payday of the week: $44,401. That tied him for the season’s highest payout with Ben Lewis who also won $44,401 on 11/9/2020.

Tim Moon WAS tied with Ben Lewis with $44,401. That seems kind of interesting.
