We closed out February with only 2 players left for the Final Jeopardy! and only one correct response between them. March opened up with everyone correct in 2 back-to-back final clues. On Thursday, 2 players knew the right Italian city but on Friday, the clue stumped the whole panel.

Jeopardy! champs, week of February 28, 2022

Christine Whelchel was the returning champ on Monday. She won her 4th game that day, but lost to Margaret Shelton on Tuesday. Margaret won every game the rest of the week and her 4x total of $79,700 put her one step ahead of Christine’s $73,602 on Jeopardy!’s Tournament of Champions Tracker.
