The week began with an easy FJ! and a triple solve. That was followed by a triple stumper on Tuesday. So that’s easiest and hardest right there. Only one player got Thursday’s clue and the other 2 each got 2 responses. That’s 8 right out of a possible 15. Those results were a bit better than the last 2 weeks when the ratio was 6 out of 15.
This week’s winning scores:
Mon 12/30/24 $20,000 Will Yancey
Tue 12/31/24 $8,401 Kaitlin Tarr
Wed 1/1/25 $24,401 Colleen Matthews
Thu 1/2/25 $20,000 Will Yancey
Fri 1/3/25 $35,200 Will Yancey
The above scores were not paid in real dollars. The winners of the first 3 games duked it out on Thursday and Friday and the prizes for each were: Will Yancey $35,000 (winner); Colleen Matthews $20,000 (2nd place); and Kaitlin Tarr $10,000 (3rd place), for a total of $65,000.
Additionally, the show paid out $15,000 in consolation prizes to the second and third place semi-finalists.
Here is Friday’s final clue in 19th CENTURY FICTION.
