It was a most unusual week but in a good way. There were no triple stumpers and everyone got Final Jeopardy! in the last 3 games of the week. Granted, they were all fairly easy clues but it’s still something we rarely see these days. Monday’s clue about the animal who was struck by a train gave the players the worst time. The category name was no help either. In fact, it was somewhat misleading considering the type of animal and where the accident happened.
On Monday, Juveria Zameer walked away with the top honors for last week’s Second Chance Tournament. A new one started on Tuesday. Christopher Pennant, Greg Czaga and Xanni Brown won the 3 semi-final games. Greg was leading after the first final game on Friday, but there’s one more final coming up on New Year’s Day. Unfortunately, the show is preempted in my bailiwick at its regular time due to Rose Bowl coverage, so I don’t know when the recap will be up.
Here is the “Women on Trial” category from Thursday’s game.
