This week, the responses went 0-2-0-1-2. I thought the second triple stumper in A BIT OF BRITAIN was the toughest. I think the BRITISH CITIES triple stumper could have been solved faster, given a little more time. The easiest clue for everyone was probably Friday’s, even if everyone didn’t get it. The easiest clue for the older generation had to be Thursday’s. Everyone who was in school on that fateful day in ’63 undoubtedly remembers being sent home and would just never forget the name of the Commission.

Nick Cascone, Jen Jazwinski and Dennis Chase competed in the 2-day finals of the Champions Wild Card (Clubs) tournament on Monday and Tuesday, with Nick Cascone winning top honors. Those games were immediately followed by another Champions Wild Card tournament. This time it’s called “Hearts”, the last suit in a deck of cards. This one will run until December 18th. Will that be it for the tournaments? Nope, they will continue to have more tournaments through March 2024.
