What’s interesting about this week is that the 3 players in the last 2 games were the winners of the first 3 games. Each one got Final Jeopardy! right in their individual games. Only one got it right in Thursday’s game and none of them got it in the last game. On top of that, the last 2 FJs of the week were the easiest and hardest. Thursday’s clue was garden-variety U.S. Geography trivia. Friday’s clue was the either you know it or you don’t variety. Deeper knowledge of the novel was necessary.
This week’s winners:
Mon 01/12/26 $31,601 Cameron Berry
Tue 01/13/26 $30,600 Jonathan Hugendubler
Wed 01/14/25 $19,601 Stella Trout
Thu 01/15/26 $12,800 Stella Trout
Fri 01/16/26 $100,000 Cameron Berry
The final week of the Champions Wildcard tournament began this week and wound up on Friday, with Cameron Berry winning the big money and a spot in the upcoming Tournament of Champions. Cameron, you may recall, got in the semifinals with a Wild Card. He was in the quarterfinal that Harvey Silikovitz won. Cameron found himself up against heavy favorite Ryan Sharpe in the semifinals. He advanced to the finals when he was the only one to get Final Jeopardy! right. The last Final Jeopardy! was a triple stumper but Cameron held back enough money to win the whole tournament. Well done, Cameron!
In addition to Cameron’s $100,000, Jeopardy! paid out $40,000 to finalists Stella Trout and Jonathan Hugendubler. These semifinalists got $10,000 each: Bill McKinney, Ian Morrison, Ryan Sharpe, Harvey Silikovitz, Vickie Talvola and Michelle Tsai
