After 2 straight weeks of 3 triple stumpers, there were none this week. Only one clue produced 2 correct responses. The rest of them got one correct. Is it tough stuff or inadequate clues? I don’t think it’s either really. It’s more like what stuck in your memory when you came across something related to a clue or saw a similar clue on Jeopardy! Even if it’s in your memory bank, pulling it out on stage isn’t as easy as pulling it out at home.
Going by the numbers, TV PERSONALITIES was the easiest clue. I never saw this person on TV so it a miss for me. Here’s a funny thing about the HOLLYWOOD NAMES clue: the man in question was a guest reader of a MOVIE MUSIC category in 2023.
This week’s winners:
Mon 6/15/26 Adam Remsen $15,801
Tue 6/16/26 Adam Remsen $21,800
Wed 6/17/26 Adam Remsen $15,000
Thu 6/18/26 Adam Remsen $27,000
Fri 6/19/26 Adam Remsen $24,901
Returning 1-day champ Adam Remsen had quite a week on Jeopardy! He swept the week. He ended the week as a 6-day champ, with a total of $124,502, including the $20K he won last Friday. Adam more than exceeded our hopes he would break the one-day champ chain. He’s had 5 runaway games out of 6. Only the 6/15 game on Monday wasn’t a runaway, but Adam was the only one to get FJ! correct
Jeopardy! paid out 104,502 to Adam Remsen this week. The usual $25K in consolation prizes was paid out every day: $3,000 for second place and $2,000 for third place.
