What was Joe thinking with that $5500 bet? If she hadn’t crossed it out, she’d’ve won!
Yes, I didn’t know where that $5,500 wager came from, but it worked out for Joe, and I did notice that had Beth stuck with her initial response, she would have won. Instead, Second Guessing & The Pressure of the Lights got her, and we’ll see how Joe wraps up our 1st week of Season 37 tomorrow.
I don’t know what everyone has to say after this week of Jeopardy! games.
I’m going to say we waited a long time and then it went by so fast
And I’m happy to have it back!
“Waltz composer” is a dead give away for “The Waltz King” for those who know classical music, so I’m surprised he missed it after going all in. He wasn’t in a situation where he needed to go for it to get back in the game, so I thought the large wager implied he was confident in the category.
Although the category doesn’t mention classical music per se, even though all responses ended up being classical composers, so maybe he wasn’t expecting classical music questions.
@JP, I agree that his all in wager indicated confidence. He seemed pretty surprised that he missed it, too!
