I just flipped to this episode and was like “What year was this?” and this was the first result that came up =P
We will not forget Regis philbin but still this episode is actually a good tribute to him. He has lived a great life. The last time we saw him was when he guided jimmy Kimmel through the who wants to be a millionaire game hosting. Anyway low scores today though I thought they knew about Rasputin.
They did not since it was a triple stumper.
As Alex said, they were misled by the word “nickname” in the clue. Apparently, they thought that was his real last name. They should have focused on the word “monk” — there was a 1966 movie called “Rasputin, the Mad Monk” starring Christopher Lee. Being in the entertainment business, that must have been a real head slapper after the fact.
