Maybe you have to be of a certain age, but I thought the artist with all the Post cover art was pretty well known.

Somehow “1937” led me right to the FJ answer. Unfortunately all the stumpers got me too.

  2. Jason says:

My wife, the artist, got FJ. I said “The Persistence of Vision”, by Dali. What’s funny is, my wife got the Duchamp reference, even though, as you say VJ, she only got two words out.

Did anyone have a very short cut to commercial for Ken at the mid point of the J! round, and at the end of the J! round? I didn’t know if that was national or local, but, he was cut off mid speech. Haven’t seen that before.

  3. Rick says:

I knew that it was one of Picasso’s paintings in FJ, but I just couldn’t come up with the name.

Liz made an epic comeback in the first half of DJ! She was the only playing answering in the first three categories and almost ran each of the category. Then, David staged a comeback in the second half of DJ! by successfully picking up 4,000 on a Daily Double. I think that Liz will probably earn an invitation to the Second Chance Tournament.

    • VJ says:

They may already have set up the Second Chance lineup for Season 40. EP Michael Davies said he planned to start Season 40 with Second Chance, followed by Champions Wild Card, and then the Tournament of Champions.

On top of that, a rerun of the Season 39 Second Chance tournament will kick off the hiatus (per my Xfinity guide)

Once again, I do not know what the criteria are, if any, for 2nd chance, but in my opinion, if you miss FJ, you’re not coming back.
