WHAT IS NEW JERSEY?

Palisade Avenue in North Jersey starts off in Jersey City and passes through a number of towns before ending up in Fort Lee. Practically, all of the towns it passes through show up on Wikipedia’s list of U.S. cities by population density. The top 3, however, are the town of Guttenberg, Union City and the town of West New York, all in Hudson County. Bergen County towns and cities it passes through include Cliffside Park, Palisades Park and Fort Lee.

“Palisades Park” was one of the correct responses to this old clue in GOLDEN OLDIES: 1 of 3 Freddy Cannon top 10 hits that have geographic settings in their titles. The other 2 were “Tallahassee Lassie” & “Way Down Yonder in New Orleans”. It was a triple stumper with Asbury Park as the only attempt.

Susan thought it was New York. She lost $6,401 and finished with $799.

Peter got it right. He bet it all and doubled his score to $22,800.

Webster came up with Florida. He lost $4,400 and finished with $9,200. That made Peter a 4-day champ with $96,997.
